Shana and Alex discuss her training and diet leading up to the Masters and how she has had to modify the diet protocols to fit her training and maintain her weight. She also explains how she has been sticking to her training schedule while having to travel. Shana shares some helpful tricks on how she has stayed on top of her diet despite having to eating out while traveling.

SHANA ALVERSON

Shana Alverson has been devoted to exercise and fitness since the age of 15. She is a 6-time regional and 4-time CrossFit Games individual competitor – and she became a professional athlete when she was signed to the Grid League’s Philly Founders in 2014. Along with her 20 years of teaching exercise, Shana has attended CrossFit’s Level 1 and Level 2 certifications and holds multiple certificates in Running Technique, Weightlifting, Programming, and Gymnastics and is the Owner and Head Trainer at Move Functional Fitness.
